Trust me, the core really means nothing it still performs the same, just half the L2 Cache.

I thought it was like lower heat or power cause the e6300 is supposed to be laptop

No, e6300 is Allendale

Umm ya, I would get a PCI-E X16, I am unsure as to weather or not it would fit either...

Oh and on the Allendale part, it is the EXACT same thing as Conroe short of half the L2 Cache, so little to no difference.

But it still has all the features, Khann is saying that the E6300 has an Allendale core, which still is pretty much the same as the Conroe, just half the L2 Cache.

there you go, that's why i hate technology. you sleep for two weeks and you don't have a clue what you are talking about anymore turns out i did miss something. sorry about my previous post then.

according to that motherboard link it has pci-e 16x anyway. although i'm thinking it might be the dodgy board i read about a while ago that had a pci-e 16x form factor slot that was electrically a pci-e 4x slot. in any case, does that board even support conroe?
