Any last minute input/considerations? To sum it up, it'll be mainly used for graphic apps, music programs and everything I tend to run simultaneously. Yea yea, go conroe, but I don't have the time to wait for Intel's dual cores, nor do I think I could extend the budget to get one, or a mobo they require. I'm sure I'll get into some gaming, but that's not the priority here. This rig focuses on art and music, and performance of course. Thanks for checking it out-

Approx $1000 [little over] after the rebates. Haven't settled on the widescreen i'm getting yet, but will probably fall in the 20" - 21" range. Just need to make sure it runs first! Oh yea, and not planning on SLI, just not needed for me yet- thanks!

eh, summer job and i earned it in a month easy. totally need it for classes in the fall, especially compared to what I have now. an investment i deem it

yeah good selection. i orderd the same motherboard/cpu/ram setup. if you got am2. i got it to stay out of the conroe bandwagon it should hold me off until amd releases their next cpu

Yeah, it's AM2. I see that graphics card is out of stock now, so looks like I need to find an alternative there, if I want to order all at once. hmmm.
