Determining PSU?

I know enought about which brands are better when it comes to a PSU,but how do I determine how many watts I really need? I do know I need at least a 450 since that is eh minimum listed for the GPU I ham using, but how much higher do I need to go? FOr referecne I'm looking at an x2 4200, x1800xt and have plans to drop in a PhysX card eventaully.

You can use a power supply calculator, but from what your describing I would get at least a 550 Watt Power supply or Higher.
But we won't know until we get a complete list of components.

This is My Reccomendation for a 550Watt Power supply. Or if you wanted to get something Nicer Then this is my reccomendation

Of course If you wanted to go modular I would reccomend either the Hiper Type R Series or Enermax Liberty Series.

An Antec 550 is what I was figuring on, I did not think I woudl need muc more than that since I am not going crossfire (and never will), but wanted more opinions.
