Is it worth fixing? Toshiba satellite a70

I bought this laptop at costco about a year ago and there have been some major problems with it. first the stupid ac plug on the motherboard some how got real hot and the plug came off and I had it fixed by a friend who knows what he is doing but it came loose about a month later. not only do i have that problem I have a problem with a monitor wire the white one. The little connector on the end of it that routes to the otherside of the board came off so now i dont have an image on the monitor. I was wondering if they sell those tiny connectors anywhere because i havent found anybody that carries them.

you may be able to find a similar connector through an electrical components supplier but it would probably take some work. it would be easier to help if you posted some pictures of the problems

first thing you need to find out is what the "little connector" is really called Then look for it on google.

But i have no experiance in this field, so i cant supply you with much more info

But i could imagin how easy it would be to fix it, only if u had the parts
