overlclocking my old machine

I have got an AMD K6-2 500 MHz machine, i wanted to know how to overclock it.

what is the safest speed to overclock it to?

You'll probably be able to do 550-600mhz although I'm sure of you're motherboard type I can assist you in the fact that you'll be needing your manual. You're going to have to move jumpers around to overclock that badboy.

my motherboards is a gigabyte GA-5AX.

by overclocking it, would it boot up faster?

need some help???

right now i have a biostar m7ncd mobo, and amd athlon xp 2400+ ram is pc3200 so im not worried about that, whole system is water cooled, i would like to change my cpus multplier but i dont know how to do that, and when i tried to connect the l3 #5 brdige to unlock the multiplier its not showing up as a setting in my bios..........please somebody help me out here, would really liek to know how to unlock my multiplier and have the setting in my bios
