what is VGA?

One of the two major interfaces for monitirs.

VGA is a small connector, usually blue, that hooks up to the back of your computer. It had metal pins that insert into the socket, and two screws to hold it in.

DVI is the other interface. It is usually beige or brown (I think), and it flatter than VGA.

DVI is the superior of the two.
 
do LCD monitors have DVI? som guy was selling a good graphics card (PNY geforce 7600gt) because it didnt have VGA (even though it came with VGA adapter) i think hes st st stoopid.
 
LCD monitors frequently do have a DVI input.

I honestly can't make out what you are trying to say in the rest of your post.:confused:
 
there is little difference in the signal and quality between VGA and DVI. basically it is the same signal except with VGA the signal is converted to analogue before it is sent down the cable and with DVI the conversin takes place in the monitor itself. basically DVI has less signal loss and a different connector. a DVI port can be converted to VGA but i don't think the reverse can be done (at least not easily).
