Media Test Failure, check all cables... ARGG!!

Assuming your BIOS boot order is : HDD/CD-R/...

It's either your HDD or Cables. It's up to you on which one you want to test first. Cables are cheaper, but they don't really have the failure rate of a HDD.

dont think its an hdd problem, tried unplugging it completely and same error

exactly why I think it's the HDD... If you unplug your HDD completely and boot it up, you should get a completely different error than that.

The error stays the same when you boot up without a HDD, so It's either something booting before the HDD (which would be setup in the Bios) or It's the HDD or cables.
