Have plans to replace my MB, memory, CPU and video card but keep the current 2 hard drives, CD rom and CR rom rewriter. Will I have to get into bios? If so,,,,how is it done and can some one guide me through it. I have the Asus A7N8X MB and the manual that came with it, but doesn't tell you alot about bios. I have in my current system 2 hard drives. My master and then the slave. On the slave I have alot of pics I don't want to loose.

You won't need to get* into the CMOS Setup once you install the new motherboard and other components but you will need to run a repair install of XP for your computer to boot into Windows.
* Unless you need to change the Boot order to boot of XP CD.

If you ever needed to enter the CMOS Setup you would either press F1, F2, Delete* or any other key just as you turn on the computer.

* Key to press is dependent on manufacture, those are most common however.

After all the components are installed you Boot to your Windows XP Disc, Tell it to install, it will then detects a previous installation you then hit R which tells it to do a repair Installation.
