As to textured look Homedeopt sells several styles of textured paints, "Hammered " is one of them.

I don't like the textured look. I guess I might buy krylon, my case should be here anyminute now, and I am still deciding on either krylon or enamel. what do you all think?

i say enamel, i used some and in person it dosnt look textuired at all it looks perfectly flat. or you could buy some uv paint at home depot

well If you gonna sand it you should primer it also. the one coat will take some scrathces out from sanding and make it a lot smoother. also use a really fine grit.
