Usb mouse problem

Hello

Ok I have this real annoying problem and i was hoping someone here could help me

Recently my mouse keep on freezing time to time for 3 sec or so .. after these second it re freeze for good or go normal.

I have no idea why I have this problem.

Ive try a differrent mouse , one usb and one PS2.. but still its the same thing

I have look around the web and many user have this problem and i havent found any cure

I have a P4 3ghz
1 gbyte corsair dual mem channel kit
seagate 120gbyte hardrive
asus p4p800 deluxe
sound blaster live 5.1
geforce 2 pro (yeah i know its suck but im poor)

someone help me this is getting real annoying..
 
It could be that your USB port that your using is not getting enough power. If you have another one, try switching the USB around to different port(s).It could also be that your using a surface that doesn't work well.
 
I would suggest uninstalling all USB related drivers (USB Hubs etc) from your Device Manager and - rather than letting Windows reinstall them automatically on reboot - actually reload the drivers manually again. Then reboot
 
well im still gettin the same effect. I just cant see what is wrong my computer was ok like 1 week ago and now im stuck with this problem

well im gonna post more thing so someone can help me out

using a logithech first wheel mouse
using windows xp sp1
dont have any virus
bios version 1015.002
all driver updated
 
Make sure theres no dust in the socket the mouse plugs into , a loose fit can cause problems. Sencronize the mouse in device manager . Is that a Optical mouse ?

It appaer that i Had not 1 but 2 faulty mouse lol

well now i just bought an intellimouse and its working fine like my old mouse use to do
