Optical mouse power supply problem

Hi, I have Microsoft Blue Optical mouse, and the problem is, that when I shut down my comp, the mouse is still on, lightning like regular. after a few howrs' I turn comp on and a few seconds after it, mouse turns off, and when windows is turnung on it turns on back.

I think that it isn't good, that optical mouse wouls be turned on 24 hours a day, so, maybe you guys have any ideas how can i solve this problem.

Oh, I forgot to tell, it is connected by ps\2 mouse port (USB connector is also aviable).

optical mouse huh? hmm btw if it is wireless... it definitely isnt a good thing

Hmmm, guys, it's not wirless mouse, it is just optical mouse, connected with the cable to ps\2 port, to motherboard.
