i hope thats not U.S. dollars if it is then mac books are way overpriced. what are you gonna use your notebook for?? i personally stay away from dells but they could be cheap sometimes. (hehe i'm using a dell laptop right now)

Micheal Dell is the devil(just kidding) i dont like dells because everybody has them and they are generally low powered and my aunt has one and she calls like every day cause something else happened to it or it broke

my sister just got a gateway from best buy for 849.99
it has an intel core duo at 1.8 ghz
1 gig of RAM
120 gig hard drive
DVD-RW burner
Windows XP media center edition

it seemed like a good deal to me
