ok I currently have a maxtor 200 gig HD, and I wanted to add a 74GB WD raptor into my system. now I want to use it to put all my games on and so I have no lag do to a cluttered slow speed drive. Now is this possible I have been wondering for quite some time. cause I figured that when installed there would be like a F drive or somethin along with the C in "my computer".

Thus when installing a game I could just send it to the F instead of the C. right or wrong?

yes, it will put it there and then create a program group in the C, so you can get to it via the start menu. but you choose where you put it...

if you asking me this, cant you browse where you want to pu the filse before beginning installastion.

yes, while doing the install it asks you were you want to put it... generically it puts it in C, but you can browse to wherever you want.
