new video card, dont know what to get

that seems like a good idea, and i think that it should run bf2 on high. if not o well. its either 6800 or 7600. opinions?

Since you say you have the money and you can't SLI it, I'd go with the 7600. Thats is unless you have other addictions to tend to. I'm no expert thou.

Edit: another important thing to consider is power. My card takes a normal 4 pin connector (like to a HDD) whereas others take special ones. Be careful with that.

I need help with graphic card too.I have a P-4 3.0 Ghz,512 MB DDR RAM,intel D915 GAVL board.I want to play games like FEAR,BF2,Elder Scroll 4 but 7900 GT is bit above my budget.I'm incline dtowards 7600 GT but i've been told that 6800 512 MB Xtreme is a better choice as it has 256 bit bus as compared to 128 bit.Now i don't know much abt this bit buses so i need an advice on this one.

Also i have a 350W power supply,will this be ok for 7600 GT.

i looked into that myself, the 7600gt beats it in core clock(570 to 350), memory clock (1450 to 1000), and pixel pipelines (12 to 8). The 6800XT has more memory though.
