Problem with Ram

I have a ASrock 775-xfireSATA2+ mobo and 4 PQI 512mb sticks and if I have more than 2 sticks in(in dual channel) it won't boot up. In the manual it says with 4 sticks you need single side or something. This is my first build so I need help. The ram is ddr2 533mhz. I can have either 2 stick in the yellows or 2 in the oranges. If I have more than 2 it won't boot up and I want to have 2gb in it. will someone PLEASE HELP ME! thank you, Adam

put the two sticks in go into bios and disable dual-channel memory or something like that then put the other two sticks in and boot up
