thanks for everyones help.

First you need DDR2 memory, I have been recommending this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227077

Second, i wouldnt get a Enermax PS. Some friends of mine Parts Buyers say they have a lot higher return rate on them. Check out Silverstone or Antec.

Third get the speakers here (much cheaper, free shipping too)
http://www.justdeals.com/Items/970123-0403?

the 10-100 (lan card) is built in to the mobo. So you dont need a seperate one.

Look for the mitsumi floppy with the card reader built in(looks cool and saves space)http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16821104104

The mobo you selected has gigabit ethernet built in. 480Watt power supply is pushing it, but should be fine. i normally wouldnt go below 500. Also that small cathode won't light up ur whole case, but maybe thats not ur intention.

markleb- thanks for the links, i dont know what type of ddr2 memory to get idk wich one will work, there are a couple different ones i would like corsair though.

and for the floppy, a card reader would be like memory cards for digital cams right? i just do that through usb

and could you recomend a psu.

slayer- thanks ill look for a 500 watt. and i got two of those cathodes, the reviews say they are very bright do you think that will light up the case nicely, i think those take up pc1 slots so could someone recomend something better.

and about the monitor, the other one comes with a 100 dollar rebate so its like 124, and that one is 250 i cant afford one for much over 100.

7600gt is a good video card but if you ever plan on overclocking I would get a HIS X1800gto IceQ3

I have one and with stock cooler I unlocked it to 16pipes with 730mhz gpu and memory (gets up to 75c). With my Amd64 @ 2.5ghz I get 10,200 in 3dmark05 which is about 3000 points higher than a stock 7600gt can overclock to IIRC.
If you don't plan on overclocking the x1800gto is a little faster on average anyway.

well the memory I linked you to is better than the Corsair. The fast Corsair is like 3 times as much.

The floppy with the card reader is nice because you dont need and extra junk on your desk or any extra USBs either, just nicer for a couple of bucks.

As to the PS get mine( I have 4 hdds, 2 7600 in SLI and fans and lights and it works very nice.

and this is a much better mobo for less $..
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813138026

dario- is that english?

mark=u think 400 watts will be enough that other guy said i would need 500. building a computer is extrememly difficult i get so many different opinions.

and is that mobo compatible with everything that i got,

do u have aim or msn? would be easier through there.

oh and i do not plan on doing any type of overclocking

adn what do you guys think of the monitor

I would go with 500-600W so you can upgrade later down the road, if you get the cheapest you can you will just have to buy another PSU when you want to eventually upgrade (if you plan on selling this then buying new parts to rebuild just ignore this entire post)

Also, if you are getting an AM2, get DDR-2, waste of AM2 if you do not.
