wtk - def. let me know whats up between the boards. Also, like Anthrix said, Pre-Orders are typically higher (sort of like a reservation fee) and I dont think that Newegg would gouge (run out maybe but not gouge )

Gerry_w - Im not sure what Im looking at right now, lol Im still int eh market. I like ASUS but I dont want to pay 229 for a board...

Apokalypse - what do you mean by the performance being mediocre.. Im planning to OC a bit. How would they compare against an Asus board. (besides propriatary features)

I.E. is the 229 or 269 price tag worth the difference?

well the Gigabyte boards just seem to be a bit slower than other boards.
Asus are probabbly better for overclocking than Gigabyte.

Asus are probabbly best for Intel systems, while DFI and MSI are probabbly the best for AMD systems. (I'm talking all round)
