I want the AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 3800+ and i was wondering if the price at 180 is good enough as i am not sure if the price of it droped already. and i was also wondering if the pentium d 930 is better than this athlon considering prices and performance for both gaming and multitasking

its 169 at newegg.. awesome buy!!

i was wondering though... the higher cache chips don't get the price drops.. same with the single cores.. the sandiego cores are CONSIDERABLY more expensive than the venice cores.. and with dualcores the the toledo cores are a lot more expensive than the manchester cores... why is AMD not cutting prices on the higher cache chips? this goes for AM2 also...

i don't see any toledo cores there.. just the manchester.. (and am2 equivalent..)
