I have some bad connectors, and I've done some wiring myself. Red to Red, Black to Black connecting 2 fans to one power cord. Anyways sometimes the computer starts clicking, and it either freezes or starts getting jerky. I was just wondering if this is a power short somewhere? I've been disconnecting fans to see if it helps, I might just buy some new fans. Happened to anyone else ever?

dont think its the hard drive. It clicks, clicks, maybe 3 times. Then either freezes, or gets jerky. I unplugged a "bad fan" seems fine now. Not really a big deal, just wondering what it could be.

Do you have S.M.A.R.T. enabled in BIOS? May want to enable that. Clicking is never a good sound coming from a computer- it may be nothing today- and really nothing tomorrow.
