I was trying to remove one of my Hard drive (coz I got two hard drive in that PC) and want it to transfer to my other PC. Now the problem is my win2000 wont boot up. I try to put it back and remove that logical drive in the system hoping that win2000 would recognize it as one HD, but still fail to boot up. anyone one knows the problem. PLEASE HELP

Since you had two drives, one was probably set to cable select, or and the other to slave. Some computers have a hard time deciding what to do when it's set to cable select on one drive. Check your jumper settings. Make sure the drive 2k is on is master, as that is the one you want to boot with, and the one the OS was loaded on.

Yes, the second hard drive was set as slave, and this is the hard drive I intended to transfer. But the problem is, this PC wont boot up anymore.
