looking for a safe way to clean my lcd, after reading a few articles about the water/isopropyl alcohol 50/50 solution, i went out and got the stuff.
i figured distilled water would be the best choice, but i couldn't find any at the local drug store, so i wasn't sure where else to look. i mixed the solution into a spray bottle, and using purified brita water instead. it cleans the lcd fairly nicely, but i still get the streeks i used to get with just plain water, but to less of a degree.
i'm wondering what i can do to get rid of the streeks, do i need to be using distilled water?
also, the cloth i'm using is just a soft t-shirt which i read was ok.
