I'm no noob, but have never even bothered finding out: Can you use a PCI-e express GFX card with a PSU that has no PCI-e connectors?

Does the 7900GT, for instance, come supplied with a molex-to-PCIe adapter or something? It's just that I have a 600W PSU that I want to temporarily use when upgrading, till I have more money to upgrade the PSU.

Any help is appreciated!

Yeah you can. You need an adapter to go from a regular power connector to a PCI-e connector. I'm not sure if it would come in the box but look around on www.newegg.com and I'm sure you'll find one.

There ya go, your in luck. This is pretty much how I think of it... if its really needed then it exists.
