I didn't realise how big this price drop is, I mean, this is more than half price! I can't believe it, I feel violated paying double that for my proc!

This war is going to get interesting with this incredible prices! I can't belive the 3800+ under £100, its great!

yea i notiecd them, extreemly cheap, the 5000 is only 220£

I intend to do a mega-overall of my comp over the next month, was thinking conroe, but now thought it might be cheaper to go AMD for now and upgrade to conroe when they settle down.

TO do a conroe upgrade would have cost me 600 quid, but AMD looking around 350-400. VERY attractive.

Well that's if you have to buy mobo/cpu/ram. If you only have to buy cpu/mobo for both, AMD is better because the mobos are ALOT cheaper. But when the conroe mobos get cheaper, to the same prices that amds are the conroe will be the much better choice. But until then AMD is the better choice just because the cost of the mobo.
