Alright, here's the deal. I got an MP3 player with a 30 gig hard drive. It stopped working. I got a 2.5'' to 3.5'' adaptor to hook the HD to my desktop. Problem is.. I have no idea what to do after plugging it in. I don't know how to do jumper settings. I need help. Please.

What brand is your hard drive? This can change the jumper settings you'll need to set it as a slave.
Try it with no jumpers selected, sometimes this will work.

Your drive should have a model number on the top of it, use that to look it up on Fujitsu's site or post it here and I can help you. Once you find it on their site you can find the jumper settings easily.

Model number is MHT2030AT. I already know the jumper configuration, I just don't know which setting to have it on. Another problem is... My adaptor doesnt leave room for a jumper so does this mean this drive has to be set to master or am I gonna have to mod the adaptor?
