Hi
I´m new to this camcorder stuff. Got a Sony DCR-HC40. When I connect it to USB or iLink it recognizes something is connected and the window asking for drivers pops up.
The wizard helps you install software for

It can´t find anything which result in...
An error occured in the installation of the device
The required section was not found in the INF.
Shouldn´t this be a 'plug&play' kind of? Anyone any suggestions. Running on WinXP SP1, AMD 1400 mhz processor with 768 RAM.
It is working good in my other computer. Well, yes why don´t I use that one...it is a 466 mhz Intel with 64 mb RAM with WinXP. Got the video I have recorded so far but it was totally worthless. Missing a lot of frames between. Guess it is because of the old equipment...
