Replay operator

I ahve been getting recorded phone calls to my house asking to speak with specific people in the house. Each time the call comes in caller id registers it as a different number out of state.

Has anyone heard of a computer program that can do this - I know it is kids doing a prank. but it is annoying with all the calls.

Do you have some kind of call blocking feature with your phone service. If so I'm sure there is a way you can add that phone number to a list of numbers you do not want to receive. Check with your phone company.

Alternative: When you see the "out of state" message on your caller id, don't answer the phone. Just let it ring and I'm sure the person making the call will get tired of a 'no answer' number.

The caller

is a recorded message so i dont think it will bother the person if the phone is not answered.

Well that sucks!! I guess you could change your phone number if the problem is epidemic.
