4 pictures per second - is that possible!!!

hi all

I have a question. I'm looking for software under Windows/Linux that will perform very, very fast slide show. I know that much depends on this how fast the machine is and how big the pictures are but most software that I've tested so far didn't even allow to set the speed below one second. I need to reach at least 4 pictures per second. Do you have some advices? Maybe someone does know the software that will reach my needs?

Macromedia Flash is what I would reccomend. Create your own slide show and customize it.
