Hello and thanks for reading...Im not a big computer guy, but i would like some help/advice from people that know what they are talking about.

I have a Dimension 2400 series Intel Pentium 4 Processor at 2.40 GHz computer with 256 MB DDR SDRAM at 333 MHz.

I would like to upgrade the amount of RAM on my computer. What would be a good Stick of RAM to add to my computer that would be compatible with what i have now. I am open to 256 MB and 512 MB RAM upgrades.

Thanks for any help...And if any other information about my computer is needed, just ask and i will tell.

Thanks

Chris

how manny ram slots are available on your motherboard?

is the 256 you have just 1 stick? or 2 X 128?

anyways.. i recommend any 512mb DDR stick. you might find DDR400 to be cheaper than DDR333, in that case get the DDR400 cuz it'll just downclock to DDR333.

I have 1 stick of 256 MB Ram and i am not sure how many open slots i have, but later tonight i plan on taking a look.
