hey my old computer which is an packard bell idesign, wen i log into windows the computer automaticaly restarts by itself, the recovery disk does not work, is der any other way of recovering the computer other than the f11 and f11 keys because they dnt work either!!! can sum1 help im realy stuckkk!!!

When did this start?

Was anything added/removed prior to this issue presenting itself?

Do you have a full OS disk?

What OS are you running?

What are you machine specs?

no beep codes, teh restartin started afta i recieved a virus and im using mcafee and it says something about a script and when u click stop the script or allow the scrit teh computer restarts shortly.

the specs are 512 ram 80gb AMD2000
im running windows xp
i do have OS disk

Boot into Safemode with Networking.

FIRST : You need to scan the machine with anti-malware apps.

I trust AVG anti-virus myself... I recommend letting AVG take a crack at cleaning up your machine too.


Next : Search the forum for "Spyware" in the search area.
You will see large posts filled with Anti Spyware/Adware/Malware applications.

I suggest following some of those directions for this.
