20 mnts to boot up, and getting error over players

one of my client has a computer pIII 500 mhz with ram of 192 40 gb hdd, the comuter was runs soothly on windows 98 but the guys want to plug all the latest usb devices like digital came, lke. once he asked to upgrade it to xp 1 so i did it . but the prob is the machine is taking time of 20 mnts to boot. and also if he download any mp3 files from internet it not works, always getting error msg

Just check windows update website for the latest patch and software driver. Also he should consider buying a new machine, that machine has the spec for Windows 2000 Pro. You can get a $200 eMachine that will run Windows XP Home.
