it should find your windows installation and ask you if you want to add it to the boot list.

This might be helpful: When I go into the recovery console, it DOES ask me which Windows I want to access. It displays the C: drive with WINNT.

sorry I though your were using XP. Bootcfg is a new command in XP.

Ok well if you copy the content of your boot.ini out here we can take a look and edit it manually maybe.

How do I get to it? I can't get into Windows, which is the main problem right now, lol.

from the C:\ prompt enter the following:

type boot.ini

That should print the content of your boot.ini to the screen.

I ought to look something like this:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect

I can't get to the C:\ prompt, it sends me straight to

C:\WINNT>

LOL, this thread just went to hel* , at first this was suppose to be a simple solution all you had to do is make the windows partition active then run fixboot and fixmbr. This should get you back into windows, and then you just download Gparted live cd http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php and delete the Linux partition then using Gparted merge it with your windows partition.

I already deleted the Linux partition. Which changed the partition # of the Windows partition. Which caused all this.

It was the one that booted when I turned on my PC, yes, but it was installed after the Linux partition.
