slow file sending times

whenever I try to send a friend a file or a song over MSN messanger it takes forever. We both have DSL too and its only a problem for him. I sent a song to another friend and it took a few mintes. It took about a half hour for the other guy. I'm not even sure where to start looking for the problem and I'm not sure anyone else does but if you do help would be awsome.

If either of you are using a P2P program it will slow things down alot. Start by turning them off, and also checking out your speeds here:
