I don't no...
I just set the STANDARD VGA first then uninstalled the drivers for nvidia...re-installed them,they loaded but on reboot it goes into BLACK SCREEN MODE!!!
Hmm, sounds like it may be a windows problem, try Re-seating the card, and then re-installing the drivers again, if that doesnt work, i could only suggest a format and re-install of windows.
Well we got it...
Here's what I did...
First I loaded the PCI Standard Video drivers then went to http://www.viatech.com (my motherboards web site) and downloaded the new 4 in 1 driver package.
I then shut down the pc,pulled the S3 Virge out and installed the GeForce2 MX/400 32mb video card with the PCI Standard VGA video drivers.
After it booted to the desktop the pc detected the GeForce2 card right away,loaded the drivers needed and that was that.
I then loaded the new Detonator drivers and its running beautifull.
