when i turn my computer on it says ' second drive not found' this is before it comes to the main screen before i select the user.
it gives the option to press F1 to continue and F2 i think to resolve but it is all complicated and i get confused.

anyone know how to resolve this?

does it actually work fine if you press f1.

if so then go into the bios and then advanced settings and find the 3 boot devices, make sure its just set to hard disk

also try booting without any external drives plugged in

yes it works fine when i press f1 also can you explain in a more simple way without all the 'tecnical jargon'

Techincal jargon? Lolers.

Ok, Lets first start by getting a list of your Components specifications, Or you could just give us the Brand and Model of your computer if its prebuilt.

Do you know if you have more then one harddrive in your Case?

BIOS= Menu Program that gives motherboard setup and configuarations options that are Saved to the CMOS.

Has this always happened? How long have you owned the Computer?
Did you make any recent hardware additions or upgrades?

Anyways, you can access this menu by hitting F1, F2, Delete, or any other key depending on motherboard manufacture, You could then disable the Device causing the problem or you could Replace the Device depending on the situation.
