I'm on another computer right now. Should I put that on a floppy?

Went ahead with the error and wrote a new MBR. Didn't work.

I made a bootable CD from that, and I think it installed Caldera DR-DOS? I'm lost now.

let it run. it tries to find the boot path.

Well, now its just asking me to type in a command. It might have tried to find the boot path in the beginning, it went by too fast for me to see.

Does it NEED to be on a floppy? Because I just made a bootable CD.

make a bart pe cd.

download and install the program and put your xp disc in the drive and let bart rip you an iso cd. burn it cd. boot it. copy your important files on the machine to your other partition. reinstall windows

So Bart PE will create a way for me to transfer my files over from the current real Windows partition and burn them?

PS: I use Windows 2000.
