Graphics upgrade question.

My GF has a Vaio tower that is generally enough for her needs, but th integrated graphics does not run some of the games she woudl like to play on it. We do not have enough money to build a new rig so I figured we could just upgrade what she has. I alrady threw in some extra RAM (has a gig now) and was looking for some recomendations as to a reasonable graphics card upgrade for middle range gaming. PCIe x16 is fine as I have already popped the box to put in the RAM and checked what kind of slots were available.

Just thought i would tell you, somebody on the forums is selling a E-VGA 6800GS. It's down to $135, and it's $280 retail.

Might want to check that out, ask if it's PCI Express. Seems like a nice deal for you.

6800gs' kinda outdated now get the 7600gt out performs it. you can get one around 155 in newegg. if it's kinda expensive get the 6600gt for hundred bucks.
