50" HD Monitor Resolution Problem

i got mine for 1950 including shipping and 4 year warentee.
the model # is HLR5078W
that model is going for real cheap, i think the next gen of dlp light wheels just came out or something... but it is totally t!ts.
it makes my 20.1" look dim in comparison... it really lights up the room.

How do the darks on DLP's compare to a CRT?

the black is seriously like... BLACK!
before i adjusted the settings, i was watching dawn of the dead and the security officer's uniforms were all just totally black... with alittle fine tuning you are able to see the details of pockets, etc. but i have seriously not seen blacks and whites as clear as on this DLP... every color inbetween is amazing as well. when i watch my visualizations it is so money, the colors are explosive... the women go gaagaa over it.

As far as compared to CRT, there really is no comparison... u can get right up against the screen and you cant make out any pixels... it makes my LCD and CRT look like they are lit by candle and my DLP is lit by like an atom bomb or something, lol...
i'm really happy w/ it... save for the formating in DVI to HDMI conversion.
