anti-virus

guyz i have the mccafe internet security 2006,but after i install it i cannot access the internet.i can only access the internet when i uninstall the security suite.unable to do anything i have shifted to avast 4 home edition.but it lacks the ability to clean files or heal infeted files.does anybody here know how any free anti virus that can heal also.

How about a free year of a good anti-virus?

I use CA eTrust on all the amchines in my house, and have for three years. It works. It's not as fast as some, but it gets the job done.

Macafee is generally poor software, scans and detects little compared to even the free solutions. The one Trotter linked is much better.
