will it damage my laptop if i move it alot.i move it about10 times everyday. from my room to the living room, to the dining table back to my room and...... if i keep unpluging it and plguing it again? how aboutopening and closing my cd drive because i burn alot of cds?

Wouldn't matter. I carry my laptop around with me all day, setting it down, driving around.
Moving a laptop does not damage it.
If you keep it plugged in, the battery will die quickly.
Try and make sure that you give it a full charge, then let it drain completely, followed by giving it a full charge.
If you leave it on a desk for a long time plugged in, take the battery out.

Just use common sense with it... be careful with it.. just because they are designed to be durable, doesn't mean that you are ok to toss it down and fling it around...
