Widescree or Regular?

widescreen definitely.... as far as working goes, ther is more usable desk space, for fps's its sweet cuz all the status stuff is out of the main playing area... your main vision is all game. is good for age of empires too cuz u can see more of the map at once

Actually, I kinda dunno. Most people have TV's for watching DVD's, even if they're an old squarish CRT like mine. Even with the black "cinema" lines, the viewable area will still be larger than a widescreen 20" monitor. I don't think widescreen is that great.

Widescreen looks a little smaller from top to bottom, because it's wider. I had to get used to that with my TV.

lol, yeah I think that's pretty obvious.


Just get a widescreen, no one wants 4:3 anymore, it will have little or no resale value when the time comes to upgrade.
