hello,
Im trying to make a professional digital camera workflow.
My camera outputs an outrageous amount of data through an dual HD-SDI link. I want to build a pc that would handle this massive workflow that Im planning.
I was wondering if I can buy an HD-SDI pci card and maybe run it through my computer and into a series of 5 terabyte racks made up of many 500gb harddrives. RACK:http://www.rackmountmart.com/html/rdBack.htm

I was wondering if a motherboard can sustain data rates of about 50Mb/s to 400Mb/s? Will a PCI slot like this one:http://www.promax.com/Products/Detail/32282
work?

Im basically trying to make a homemade version of this expensive digital camera capturing device, the DFR: http://www.stwo-corp.com/products.htm

I really have the capability and willingness to build it rather than just renting it.

someone please give me advice....

ps: what about the storage? Im thinking of making a RAID 5, but what kind of hard drives should I use?

thank you
