I don't know how to carry out a system restore in 98. XP is pretty straight forward. Whenever I start the computer up it becomes unstable if there is a cd in the cd drive, it's fine otherwise. When I put a cd in the cd drive it either crashes or refuses to load the cd. Data cd's work via explorer. Audio cd's do not work at all. I have tried to load audio cd's using windows media player but it always crashes.
