ac97 audio prob with bf2

After recently building a computer with new and old parts i have had a serious problem playing battlefield 2,, after a short while my audio starts popping like crazy and the game starts to lagg,sometimes the game crashes or reboots the computer, then sometimes my audio starts popping in everything, i have to wipe my drivers and reinstall ,this problem only seems to happen when i play bf2.any help would be really aprecieated

, ive updated everythign my motherboard has to offer and then some more, bf2 seems to work fine when 1 stick of ram is in but now 2, ive fiddled with a few sticks that were tested with memtest and all seemed fine,
