have u looked at the benq 20.1"? it is real nice... pretty dull next to the 50", but still a good picture. i love playing fps's on widescreen... i have the playable viewing area of a 19" and all the text and info etc are in my perifrial (sp?) vision.

I did look at it but I figured a 19 inch would be great for me lol, I plan to be goeing down to florada for flight training and this comp will be comeing with me so I dont want a HUGE screen 19 is big enough lol, so any other suggestions? is this a good comp?

thanks

Scrap the whole thing. Then, in two weeks, come back and we'll build you a 10x better system for the same price.

Read the post. It's amazing what that can do.

What? He says he MAY have to buy it before the price drops, and Conroe comes out before the price drops. What do you want me to read?

Hey. Just sayin'. He plans on waiting, so he'll ask us again if he gets a chance. I doubt he's going with Conroe anyway by the looks of it.

hey everyone chances are that I wont be able to wait till the price drop, but new things have occured, and I dont think I should get the video card I listed, the only reason I was going to get it was because I knew someone who could buy it off of me, well that guys kid poured water inside his comps case when the guy was putting in a new hard drive grr, So I think I should just get a ok video card and save some money then but the new video cards when they come out. any suggestions? on what video card?

thanks

I agree with gerry Intel pused the realease date for conroe to July 14th, the e6600 is right in your budget, and if you can afford that with the ddr2 memory theres still the lower models that can still perform better than the x2 3800+, and if you must go with amd price drops should beround july 23rd.

For the video card the 7600gt will do you wonders.
