Laptop upgrade

I know most laptops cannot have their processor and videocard upgraded, but was wondering if anyone could tell me, or if there is somewhere I could go to find out if mine could be upgraded. I have a Compaq Presario R3000:

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+
NVIDIA GeForce4 440 Go 64M

No for the video, although you may be able to upgrade the processor. I think the fastest it could go would be a 3400+ though.
