heh, yeah but if they're cheap enough they may say anything. may say "well, did you use a surpressor?" Crap like that. Overheat, then you can blame it on a faulty fan. course, when plug'n back in I would somehow try to ruin the fan. maybe fuse the bearings? of course, they probably wont think to check that. just tell them that shortly before that happened the system alert came up about heat index and when you turned it back on you had problems. they'll believe that. MAN, we're ALL going to hell for this!
 
Speed up the process and back the vent up to a heat duct, hair dryer or mini disc furnace.
 
Some warranties cover 'Accidental Damage'. So why not ""accidently"" pour coffee over the motherboard while it is on. Or ""accidently"" put it outside in the street and run over it with your car?

But on a more serious note, overclocking or short-circuiting the fan would be the best option.
