how much are you planning on spending on this upgrade?

oh and where do you live?

what do you mean u have 2 processors? are u saying its 2 seperate processors or a dual core processor? and definitely both, haha. :p, well i guess the video card would be a better choice, then sell ur old one to a sucker, and by some more ram.

i was informed its one processor with hyper threading i have a 3 year old alienware area-51 my system is pretty dated but it still played all the latest games fine and i dont know how lol im planning on spending like 200 max on this because its not my money lol

That just means your one 3 GHz processor "pretends" it's two processors. And even if you did have two processors, it would not "add up" to 6GHz

For RAM, go with this:
G.SKILL Value 2GB (2 x 1GB)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231039
$159.23

For graphics card, here's the best ones for AGP (on NewEgg, at least):
eVGA 256-A8-N505 Geforce 7800GS 256MB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130269
$289.99
($269.99 after $20.00 Mail-In Rebate)

eVGA 128-A8-N374-TX Geforce 6800XT 128MB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130268
$149.99
($129.99 after $20.00 Mail-In Rebate)

eVGA 256-A8-N340-TX Geforce 6600 256MB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130232
$105.99
($95.99 after $10.00 Mail-In Rebate)

Get a 6800XT and some Corsair value ram.

XFX 6800XT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150157

Corsair Value Ram 2x512:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145505

That comes out to aroudn $220, if that is to much than you can get the 128mb version of the card for cheaper. Still the same performance just lless onboard memory. Here's the 128mb version for $117

XFX 6800XT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150158

If you get the 128mb version then it would come out to around $200 and be with in your limits.

Also if you want to stick with ati you can substitute the geforce 6800XT for a radeon x1600pro for aroudn the same price. Here's one.
