newly built pc will not boot winxp pro cd!!!!

Also you can force the cd drive to read the windows disk.Go into bios and disable your hard drive and then boot up.It should read off the cd drive now.Then when windows starts to reboot go back into BIOS and reenable the hard drive. Usually I have to do this with older BIOS's but I've had to do it on some newer ones also.

got it to boot from windows floppies, but now i have 3 yellow bangs next to ethernet, serial port & pci device?
give up with this machine!!!!!

XP doesn't have drivers for everything, You have to install the drivers that came with your motherboard and or any add on devices you have added.
