CPU: Socket 478, P4, Prescott Core 1MB L2 Cache, Stepping 4, Revision D0.
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000-G [NetBurst technology]
Ambient Temp: Around 27C Degrees.
Cpu Temp: Around 38 Idle, 57 at full load.
Aftermarket Cooling: Gigabyte GH-PCU22-VG (Rocket 3D Pro) @ 4500RPM
Case: SP [Generic] with one exauhst fan [80mm, generic @ 1500RPM, low CFM one]
CPU Stock speed: 3,000 MHz.
CPU Overclocked speed[max speed achived]: 3,800 MHz with a 0.15+ voltage increase (From 1.337Vcore to 1.487VCore +/-). 26.5% Overclock

Thats my top overclock, was stable for a while but it caused me crashdowns (Weird, because it was not the temp causing it to crash) so I took it off back to stock....

i thought the tape trick only worked on Klamath cores?

i had a celeron 233@400, a k6-2 380@475 and my current cpu at 2.85ghz.

Yeah, I checked and actually it is a Klamath. I must've been thinking about one of the other Pentium 2's I had. I've got like half a dozen in a box in my closet...

my highest overclock is in my sig... It runs stable there, but my pc works effectively as a space heater... and I hate the heat...

so I usually run it without the OC

the highest I've had it was around 2.25(not much more) and it started to destableize

then again, I am running a stock hs

3200+@ 2.9 Opty 170@ 3.15 4400+@ 3.0

Only the 3200 was stable, but I just look for 3dmark stable. I dont care about that Prime crap.

AMD 3700 San Diego (s939)
Boot stable: 3.05GHz (not very stable)
Fairly Stable (superPi 16M) 3.0GHz
Rock Stable (20+ hours with Prime95): 2.95 GHz

Took my HIS X1800gto IceQ3 from 12pipes @ 520/495 to 16 pipes @ 730/730 on the stock cooler.

My skt939 venice Amd64 3000+ @1.8ghz to 2.6ghz on stock cooler.

I run everything a little less than that to make sure it doesn't melt.
