Yeah but it cost 300 dollars :freak: Might as well buy new PCIE16 mobo and a 7600GT for 150 :p :classic:

I want to avoid replacing the mobo if possible because I'm a bit of a noob at replacing mobos ( meaning I have never replaced a mobo) and I'm afraid I'll mess something up.

hahaha its really not that hard :)

Just un screw, pull out of I/O shield, and vula!

I highley suggest getting a new mobo:D

Ya but that would mean new processor too then it would just be a new computer complelely and if i was to do that I d want a better looking case because mine's just blain beige and boring.

well not technically.

I mean sure a better processor, but you can keep the ram, keep the HD, or buy the caviar as you suggested, and you can keep you GFX and buy a brandy new PCI express one when you have more money.

Mine as well bite the bullet;)

Total is roughly $822 USD. Not sure what the Canadian equiv is, but that's a start.

Wow! Trotter that is pretty nice for just $822!

I'll be sending these parts to my brother who's going to build a new computer soon.

:)

Well, it doesn't include Windows, and you could drop down to a 3000+ or a Sempron (but the price difference isn't that big). You could also go with an older video card.
